Guys (and gals) I can't get my ruby and I'm getting super discouraged... I've had more than 100 tries at it probably and still nothing. I'm starting to hate the firework dragon lol

Yeah, it's time backflip removed it from the market. One less failed dragon to worry about when trying to get ruby.

Don't we all? I'm a working girl and I have my iPhone with me all the time. It only takes a few seconds to collect coins and switch dragons when needed. When I get home in the evening I love to catch up on forum news. I'm on my lunch break now so I have my iPad at the ready! I check in just in case there is another combo listed for ruby .... I wish!

i agree, i dont like fireworks anymore, its the only fail im getting with my hunt for a panlong. last month i got 7 solstices while trying for a panlong.

Just curious, what dragon were you trying to bread with evergreen and metal? What made you think to try this combo?

BFS gave a clue at their FB page that there's a secret dragon. Though they didn't gave details, i know it's the long awaited metal+plant hybrid, they usually release opposite dragon first as a secret dragon, like frostfire, dodo, and current. Luckily i got it on the 1st attempt.

Oh Di thankyou, that's something else, those dragons that are really rare....the Leap year and isn't there one that only appears every 12yrs.
Jaxan is doing really well & seems to have a knack for the new dragons. It's so nice he phones me for advice on what to get next and is really enjoying it.

No, leap year dragon (LYD) comes every 4yrs when there's a leap year. Though the LYD only stay for a very short time, it was release on Feb27 then gone on March2, so only few was lucky enough to breed it. The one you're saying 12yrs is the panlong dragon, it is only available in the year of the dragon in chinese lunar calendar, so that means it will take 12yrs to have another year of the dragon. They should have make LYD stay until the end of the year, because this whole year is called LEAP YEAR, like year of the dragon, it's whole year, not just for feb29, they should called it leap day dragon instead. Hehe!

Hi Marc (kyrp2n8) Thanks for accepting the friend request. I've been following this thread for a few weeks without ever posting so here it is!
I checked out your islands and I am stunned!! They look amazing!!!! Inspiring.
Curious to know how you got already expired dragons eggs displayed since I feel like that option wasn't available till much later? Was it breeding two of them? Smart to have two of the limited ones at a time.

Also, to anyone, for the life of me I still can't get a panlong or rainbow no matter how much I try. I've managed to get every single dragon I could so far since I started playing in April with the exception of the emerald and with working on the three new ones (ruby, pollen and mag).

Does anyone have suggestions for em? I feel like I've tried every single combo for rainbow and panlong a bunch of times with no results.

Yes you can always breed two of the same dragon to get the egg even if it is already expired, except for gemstone dragon which can not be breed together . I have 2 of each limited and rare dragon.

I've tried butterfly and mud but I'll def give mud/firework for panlong and butterfly/bloom for rainbow.

I was thinking it would be cool if we had the options to trade dragons. For instance, my cousin has about 30 plus panlongs. If he just could give me one and I could give him a gemstone dragon he can't seem to be getting. That would be excellent..or when we sold the dragons, if they could actually go on a dragon market people could buy with their dragoncash. Or at least the people on your friends list.

If you use butterfly+bloom that will be 5elements, ALFPC, that will give you a lots of possible results, so it is more harder for you to get the rainbow. I suggest to use only 4 elements, without lightning and cold to eliminate getting sun/moon. But the best combo right now is scorch+chrome, coz you'll also get a rainbow while trying for ruby. I already got 2 rainbow from that combo.

Well I was REALLY bored and made something similar to a chess table even with the pieces :x

Cool! 8) but i saw some misplace, 2 sun(king/queen) and 2 moon(king/queen), i suggest make the moon as king and the gemstone as queen, on the other side make the sun as king and rainbow his queen.
