So i think the update today is to reload some gems to some users who have emailed them, they just updated it again right now, maybe to the second batch. They don't usually make 2 updates in 1day. or maybe just an announcement again, but i have received that announcement before.

Just wanted to say I was very pleased to receive my 1450 gems back from Backflip studio this morning having emailed them yesterday. If anyone invested in either the Epic Sanctuary or Cave before the price was dropped, you can get your gems back. No cash refunds though!

I guess it's nice to have a big gem pile in the bank to fast track the next gem dragon or new / hidden dragons that come up in the future!

I figure that if people are willing to go out of their way to complain about the price of the BC & EBI then they obviously haven't gotten into the spirit of the game. For one, no one has made you spend your own money. It gives you the option to buy gems from your own money and while I do agree that the original prices of the upgrades was rather outrageous. I do not believe anyone was forced into it. Okay everyone is entitled to make a complaint or have their opinion but people who continue to complain that they bought the upgrades before BFS lowered the price need to settle down! For one, BFS have obviously listened to the complaints and have responded by lowering the prices. And two, for those who complained even further about wanting a refund, BFS has accommodated again by offering refunds to anyone who emails them. But to the people who want to keep complaining seriously? What more could we ask for. They have lowered the price and given back refunds. You spent the money in the first place so why can't we just accept it as it is and keep the complaining down to a minimal so the rest of us can keep enjoying the game this particular thread is about tips and tricks of the game. Not a complaint thread. I'm pretty sure they have one of those already.

(I also know that I'm being hypocritical by posting something that is not a tip or trick for my benefit or to answer someone else's question, but It gets annoying reading all negative comments about the breeding cave and island upgrades -.-)

Anyways, here is a thread related question, has anyone found another way to breed the pearl dragon? Been breeding like crazy with snow and seaweed, keep changing the order but still no luck :/ Congrats to those who have had early success with the pearl!

I put Iron/magnetic in EBI trying for Copper. Bad idea!!! Ended up w/24 hr clock that can only be Crystal. Didn't we get enough Crystal trying for Emerald Dragon, which I never got BTW??? Uuugghhhh!

I guess everyone had enough Crystal for the moment! try breeding only the basics for Copper (Metal and Lightning), so a fail will only take 4h.
