Some people wait awhile for me to get caught up... But when I do they are getting one pretty much everyday from me.. A lot of us have been at this a while me since oct and others longer.. So our lists get pretty long. I do it think I have ever heard anyone say that they have sent one out and not gotten it back. And if that has happened it was by mistake. I have found that the people on here are pretty honest. That is why I only except requests from the people on here. I turn down quite a a lot bc I do not know them.

Me too girl....I had somesome say I wasn't paying them back once but I'm sure they got them back by now. That was a long time ago. There ate those from the and others message that we will never figure out which really sucks. I agree...the people on here do seem pretty honest. It's a nice change for the internet world...that's why this is such a great community in which we have all become one big happy family (most of the time) haha but it wouldn't e a family if we didn't have our issues here and there. I thought about turning some down but I haven't because I thought what if they are like me....I read the forum for quite some time before I joined and posted the first time.

I always give back a gem for a gem, it may not be the same day but normally within a few days you should get one back from me. I try to keep my friends list small for this reason. I figure it takes some people longer then others depending on their friends list. I will say that there is one person on my friends list I have never received a gem from, but I haven't taken them off (I use them for party hats) and still send them gems.

The beauty of this game is you can play it so many ways. Receiving gems is just an added bonus and for me it does not effect how I play the game.

Just my opinion.

Well said Brandy! In some ways I wish mine were a few days but it's probably more like months. Ugh....but they are always returned.

Mr Poppy, Birdmaestro, sir. I know you're back into work and not going to be around here very much anymore (yeah right), but I have a question. Now that Mag/Iron's have show themselves to be a better breeding combo for cash (in the long run), I have a question about spending gems. I'm going to keep 300 gems, but more than that seems a bit excessive, don't you agree? (Don't answer that. I know your view ;-) So if I'm receiving between 4 and 10 gems a day between family and Colosseum, what's the best way to spend them? Does it make a difference if I speed up breeding or hatching? Or if I speed up 1 breeding by 4 hours or 2 breedings by 2 hours? I mean 2 gems on an air/sandstorm is pretty self explanatory, but now there's a few more choices when you're working on a 4 hour time frame ...

Lay some wisdom on me.

You didn't tell me not to answer...haha. So are you saying I need to spend some of mine? I was waiting to hit 1100 to upgrade my HC lol. It's still only at 50. Good questions though....

I hope you guys saw the remainder of my reply as I was totally kidding around. I would never wish that on anyone!

And I too have gotten the "and others" message 3 times since playing this game in December. (Those 3 times were when my grandfather was in the hospital in February.)

While I may only have 38 DV friends right now, I appreciate each and every one, and like you I do not trade with them all. I only admire their islands and collect party hats. I am almost always sitting and waiting for my gem tree to refresh so I can give away some more gems to very wonderful and friendly players!

Please do not think that I would dare with-hold or be mean to someone for not returning a gem! As I have stated before, you never know what is going on in someone's life behind Dragonvale, and I personally respect that!

Ok. A little off topic, but ive been playing draw something for a while now and have accumulated lots of coins and colours. I just went to draw something (lol) and all my colours are missing! I remember someone here saying they had the same problem. How did u fix it?

Uh oh lol. I haven't seen that yet. I messed up last night though and don't remember who it was sent to...I did doormat but forgot to point to it with a arrow. Yikes! Sorry whoever got that one! I get going too fast sometimes.
