I find it very helpful if you keep track of your breeding/dragons. For example this is my breeding chart (note: The levels represent what level they were when I recorded the breeding, not when they were first hatched):

1. Crackle Lvl. 4 Fire Dragon+Muir Lvl 4 Earth Dragon= Ural lvl. 5 Lava Dragon
2. Crackle Lvl. 4 Fire Dragon+Damek Lvl. 6 Plant Dragon= ButterCup Lvl. 5 Flower Dragon
3. Damek Lvl. 6 Plant Dragon+Muir Lvl. 4 Earth Dragon= Geo Lvl. 7 Tree Dragon
4. Ural Lvl. 5 Lava Dragon+Damek Lvl. 6 Plant Dragon= Name Lvl. # Lava Dragon (unhatched so it has no level yet)

And this is my list of the dragons that I have:

I think, to breed a rainbow dragon you need two level 10 dragons with all of the elements. Like say you breed a fire+plant dragon and then you get the flower dragon. Then you breed a earth+fire dragon and get the lava dragon. Then you breed the flower with the lava dragon. Now you get a dragon with fire, plant, and earth elements. Then you keep leveling up and breeding dragons until you get two dragon that, when bred together, create an egg with all of the elements (rainbow) Although you would obviously have to keep trying to get the right outcome.

P.S. The sun and moon dragon does not require a rainbow dragon as you can't breed a rainbow with other dragons. Maybe a rainbow+rainbow? But I think that would just give another rainbow :/

Hi all. My name is Shellee. I have been following this thread for a couple of weeks now. I haven't posted mainly because I didn't have anything to input. I am stuck like a lot of others trying to get the Rainbow dragon. I'm still trying the Firefly/Seaweed combo switching them back and forth with no luck yet. I had all the other dragons until I woke up this morning.

I am not sure if I'm correct or not but from reading the descriptions it seems to me you have to get the Sun dragon first. Now looking at the flag for the Sun my first assumption is that you have to breed Water and Lightening. I am assuming this because of the color of the flag. Guess anything is possible. I am not sure on the Moon yet but I'm thinking again from reading the descriptions it could possibly be Sun and Cold that make the Moon. The color of that flag though is stumping me if my other theory is correct. Or will we finally be able to breed the Rainbow dragon with another and would it be that we would breed Rainbow and Cold? Hmmm...would love to hear others theories. All I know now is that I really, really need another island. What a nightmare it will be for me to sell dragons and move things around since my islands are SO full all ready. *sigh*

Oh! And since we can't breed Lightening/Water maybe a hybrid of Water.

Doesn't look like that will maybe work either. Lol. Back to the drawing board. I will post if I come up with anything.

I got the rainbow dragon by putting blazing lvl10 left and mud lvl10 right. I both a volcano and I had the rainbow habitat. Good luck!

*This is not a friend/gift request*. How can you find out who has gifted you and vice versa? Is there a log somewhere in the game?

Okay here is what I've found out, they bred a Scorch with a Moss and it takes 62 hours to breed. I am guessing that its the moon dragon considering the moss part. Still have to figure out what level the person is, what level the dragons are, and what time of day they bred it. I'm so excited!

I'm having a dickens of a time getting the sandstorm and rainbow dragon also something about gifting. I gave out gems to all the ppl on my list yesterday 3x. How? Visit a random player and then goto friends. You can do 3 more and then go home and visit another random player to give 3 more. rinse and repeat and you'll be able to get everyone on your list. I think this is the devs way of getting us to see what other ppl are doing by visiting their islands. It would be nice if we could just use a gift all button. Yea that would be the ticket

I've got all of the information! A quote from the breeder:

"I am level 14 I had aleady bought the habitate for the sun BUT I put it on an island by itself (idk if that helps it or not) and then As i'd normally do go to my nursery and put something random in. It ended up with 4 hours for the dragons to stop mating and then it went into the incubate it's a realy yellow colouring with stars (NOT snowflakes) And it said 62 hours to breed.... Or like 2000 gems I am waiting now. I put them on at 4 o clock only 58 hours left i will update you then."

They bred a lvl. 10 scorch with a lvl. 4 moss
