There are different ID's. Your Gamecenter ID determines what personal version of the game is loaded. Your Apps, or Apple Store ID, determines what account is billed.

For example, I download my grandson's DV all the time on my device in order to help him and maybe buy him a few gems (which despite Poppy's patient coaching he spends like a drunken sailor). The reason his park loads instead of mine is that I sign out of Gamecenter as birdmaestro and sign in with his GCID which I have the password for.

Meanwhile I leave my Apple Store ID the same so anything I buy for him is charged to my account. When I'm done with his DV and want to play my own, I log out of GC with his ID and log back in with my GCID. Then my DV loads.

Theoretically, you could play as many DV games as you wanted to by creating multiple GCIDs.

Yes it does thanks.
However, and pardon my daftness, I have 2 iPads registered under 1 apple ID, so therefore when i go to log into the GC with a new ID it wants to change the information stored on the apple ID, it asks me to sign in under the apple ID or create a new one, if I create a new one it says that that will now be the new apple ID.
Is there a way to have 2 games centre IDs under 1 apple id? guess thats what i think i need to figure out

And a side note: it makes life easier if you keep a list on your devices notepad to keep track. It gets hairy pretty quick. When I get the notice of gifts I close dv before clicking the notification away in case I have a brain fart.

That's useful to know! I actually have a very early version running on my old itouch which was where I started when DD got me gong on the game; didn't realize I'd have to sign out there to use same GCID when I got my phone and started here, so I have two IDs...

Yee Hah! After spending a day making air dragons for profit, I decide to have another crack at a Panlong overnight, and Woot Woot, my second 48 hours in 48 hours. Figure it must be a rainbow as there is no cold or lightning.

2 and a half hours till I find out what my first 48 hour dragon is.

My apologies to all those that have been trying for longer and haven't had the luck I have. Tommy, I'm looking at you.

Got my Panlong with Blazing and Mud after a couple of tries. Both level 10.

Then out of the blues, I though it would be interesting to breed a mix of good elements. So I went for breeding Panlong and Storm (cold/lightning) (All 6 different elements) and boom... 48 hours incubation egg... Rainbow? Moon? Sun?

Should be interesting to breed next Panlong and Reindeer (cold/plant only dragon with this combination) just to see what turns up.

I say rainbow!!! Congrads!!!
