As I was able to refine the Chinese Gold Coin Factory (CGCF) a bit to use fewer resources, I was able to bring the babies back. Poppy's Nursery Island is fully populated - one baby of each dragon. Stop by and say hello to the little cuties.

Also, look around the rest of the park when you're there. I've been spiffing things up and I'd love to know what you think. I'm at birdmaestro.

Yay GT!! I haven't been able to read the thread for awhile, but first thing I had to check is if you and Cox finally got your Panlongs. So happy you now have 2! Congrats!

Thank you for the kind words and the encouragement. Your remarks are what motivated me to bring back the babies. As you say, the gold shrines will come in time. I got another gold shrine over niight, an Air, and my count with Water and Cold stands at 40. I can cruise at one or two Ices a day and have those two in a week or so. I'm not sure I will ever get Lightening and Plant.

And meanwhile the babies are hopping away! As my Granpa Pickle Eyes once told me, you can have everything if you try hard enough.

Poppy am sure your grand children are happy about the babies revival and so are your many visitors who spend much more time on your islands that they do on other gamers islands. At least, I do.
I have probably a quite typical "old european" attitude, whereby "Rome was not build within a day" and finally, they did not managed too badly as we still remember them.

I simply cannot manage a colosseum win with lightening. I am putting out flags for gold and only have 1 for lightening. Any have a favorite winning dragon?

Oddly I just finally got one with a lightening. I think it's also random. Like spinning the 'hello kitty' wheel.

Trialer for 'thrones' is out. I love that show. I hear the first book is a hard read but maybe easier if you've seen the first season. All hail hbo series!

So I visited all my friends islands today, and wanted to comment on them. Thoughts are below:

Well you're jam packed with the panlong dragons on your first Island, aren't you, lol. I see you have the water and fire boosts there for max bonus, so you must be generating a lot of coin. I think it's funny you have your portal completely surrounded by flower beds so visitors can't get in or out. Watching people appear and disappear at the portal is quite soothing. Like the colosseum bound by flags and ponds with the 2 rainbows in the back corners. But how in the world did you get the dragon egg to sit in the middle of the portal? Love the reds and yellows on the Lightning/Sun Island. The simplicity of the water/air island is pretty appealing also.

Wow, Fletch, you're quite something. I love that you took the time not just to visit all these parks, but really look at the detail and take notes. KUDOS!

I think my islands were at their best just after Panlong and the Chinese decorations came out. I moved a lot of habitats around yesterday in order to get more coins, yeah my panlong and my cold island islands are my money earners. Of course this could all be maximized, I could get rid of lighting and fire habitats (did you notice I don't have a plant habitat...gave up on that a long time ago). But I really need to draw a line somewhere to keep the game fun. It can't all be about the money, right?

The thing with the egg statue was a glitch at the very beginning when the game first came out. I had all my portals on the 3 original islands like that...it's kinda cool how the visitors come out of the Egg's column. Then, one day I tried to move one portal and the egg statue wouldn't go on it anymore. Bummer. Eventually I also needed to move the second portal, but the third (last) one will stay no matter what.

I have the same problem, it's frustrating. We're losing MILLIONS from those partyhats at our level. JK, but yeah, I haven't collected more than a few recently because of this issue. Emailed my support contact about it this morning and hope they can fix it. I also mentioned the "and others" issue again

I once keynoted an Internet conference in Dublin. I just love the Irish for their wit. At the dinner following the conference, I made the following toast:

"To Ireland, where some say there's a sense of mañana, but others think that's too quick."

To which my typically quick witted Irish host replied:

"To the U.S,, where some say there's a sense of instant gratification, but others think that's too slow".

I knew going in that I was over matched, but I laughed harder than anyone.
