Wi-fi sync is now available to sync directly from your PC to DejaOffice via a local wi-fi connection. You'll want to update to the latest builds of both DejaOffice and CompanionLink. Here's how to sync:

Setup:
1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device and connect it to the same network as the PC
2. Install DejaOffice on the iPhone (DejaOffice 2010 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store)
3. Within DejaOffice go to Settings>Sync>Wi-Fi Settings and switch "Enable Wi-Fi Sync" to "On"
4. Select Back to the main DejaOffice screen
5. Go to the "Sync" mini-app within Dejaoffice
6. From this screen an IP address given (e.g. 192.168.1.101). Take note of this.
7. Install CompanionLink on your PC (Product Updates)
8. Run Setup and select "Apple iPhone (Wi-Fi Sync)" then "Configure"
9. Enter the IP address given in DejaOffice, then OK, then Next
10. Select your Contact Manager, then Next, then Finish

How to Sync:
1. Open DejaOffice and go to the "Sync" mini-app
2. Open CompanionLink on your PC and select the "Synchronize" button
3. The sync should start on the PC and on the device
4. When the sync is running you will see a spinning wheel (on the iPhone) within the Sync mini-app,
and another smaller spinning wheel in the very top bar near the Wi-Fi indicator.


Wi-Fi Sync troubleshooting:
-The user’s iPhone/iPad and their PC absolutely must be on the same local network for this sync to work.
-Ignore the sync button in DJO for Wi-Fi sync - Wi-Fi syncs can only be started from the PC.
-If the user says that they are both are on the same network but the sync doesn’t seem to start, make sure you can ping their phone from the PC. (See below)
-Some users (hopefully not many) will still have issues, even if both are on the same network, because of their office firewall, etc. (We use port 8090)
