Ipad2 user wifi multiple wifi and email account

An anyone indicate whether one email smtp out going server account can be used with multiple wifi connections. Ie company wifi, Optus home, virginbroadband

It depends on the settings the ISP uses. Some ISPs limit SMTP connections to those within their network, so if you're outside say your home network, it may not work.

With modern email, it is always better to set up using IMAP or Exchange settings, then you don't hit these types of issues.
