Decided that it would be best to upgrade my iMac to Lion, before upgrading my iPad to iOS 5. No problems and Lion was upgraded same day as iOS 5 was released, as was Apple TV and Safari. No problems with the upgrading to iOS 5. Except all non-current emails, sent and trash were no longer there. Not a big deal. Still exploring the update differences and settings. Good to check your settings immediately after the update and adjust as needed. Very happy so far. I posted a link here to help anyone upgrading, but was refused by this site as I have only posted 2. Will try again
