Is it possible to have a time clock which indicates Aussie time.
I know we have several time zones ,but when the thread shows 5.30 am and it's 8.30 pm in oz it can be confusing.

You mean on the forum? You can set your local time zone in your control panel, this will change all time posted to your local time.

I'm in the UK and it's currently correctly indicating UK time - and it even changed correctly when we switched from GMT to Daylight Saving (British Summer Time). Does it do this by detecting the location of the user from the IP address?

Don't think so I'm sure I had to set it in my control panel.

It's a standard set up with all vBulletin based forums. You need to set your time zone in your user set up. I set my time zone for Eastern Australia and the forum clock reads correctly for me.
