    $40 HDMI cable vs Apple TV

    Ok, I went to best buy today and got the hdmi cable adapter, not very surprise. Now, should I keep this junk or just get the apple tv?

    Prons and cons on this to items? Any help will be appreciated.

    Well, I got the cable today but I think I will get the apple tv anyway. Still will like to get some feedbacks.

    I had the cable, took it back and got the apple tv. Wireless and works great for me.

    HDMI cable for iPad v Apple TV?

    I own an Apple TV and love it.
    However, you WILL need an HDMI cable for that too.
    Just a different product than the HDMI cable for the iPad.

    Advantage of Apple TV for iPad is the convenience AirPlay.
    Also the obvious other features such as web access via TV to YouTube, Netflix and Apple store for movie rentals.
    Also can stream your iTunes.

    Can do it all from convenience of bed or sofa, all via Bluetooth.
