Hello everyone.

I know this is an iPad forum, however, this is the "Anything Goes" forum, so, here goes.

I am a new Apple TV 2 user. What would be the benefits of Jailbreaking this?

From what I have seen, most of the Jailbreak tools are Mac based, and both of my Mac's are desktops and in my basement, and the Apple TV is in the living room upstaire which would make it considerably more difficult to effect the Jailbreak. Plus, both of my Mac's are older so they aren't running the latest and greatest iOS.

Is PC based Jailbreaking possible with Apple TV 2, and will it even provide me with any positive benefits like I achieve in the iPad?

I would wait until os5 release as it will use iCloud sync plus mirror the iPad 2 I tried jail breaking version 1 but was a waste of time
