I always laugh when I hear that oldsters have trouble with technology. I know several age 70+ people who use iPads and iPhones, abandoning their offices full of laptops, notebooks, and desktops.

I had to put this in. One of my patients that was in the hospital recently was 85. He goes to dialysis 3 times a week (over 3 hrs each time) and they have wifi at his dialysis center. He enjoys Netflix , hulu plus and other apps. Really improves his quality of life for that 9 hours a week. He played with his iPad while at the hospital as well.

I'm 55 and feel quite empowered by all the new things I can do on my iPad

