At least to me $600+ is such a big amount of money that you bet I will treat it with care.

I used to, but after the third replacement I realized that it just didn't like milk, no matter how perfect I got the bottle's temperature.

    No I don't.
I use standard common sense precautions but just like my phone I treat it as anything else I own. I don't have a screen protector on them it, don't put it down gently, don't keep it from my toddler, don't worry about dropping it.
I also don't take it in the bathroom or near a pool, don't leave it in my vehicle, don't drink beverages when using it, and don't use it when I'm already mad about something but that's more about not knocking a hole in the wall with it when my wifi drops suddenly than protecting the iPad.

I'm casual with mine. I have only a back cover on iPad 1 and 2. I also keep a wire stand on them all the time. (I bent a couple of plate stands so that they grip the iPad and I don't remove them, even when I stow them in a sleeve in my everyday bag.) If my bag got smushed, it probably would crack the iPad screen. I'll chance it. Things are useful to me only if I don't have to baby them.

I'm sad, but yes, I do. It's been in it's apple case since I got it apart from the occasional clean and use without case but only in bed. It's a lot of money so I would look after it but I don't baby talk to it either! That would be weird, wouldn't it?

Yes I do baby my new ipad 2. It resides in its very own leather case which protects it from drops and kitty walking on it. For even more protection my new baby has a second case for carrying outside our house, just cannot have too much protection! My devices all look like new and last for a long time because they are babied!
