I know there are various articles around this but wanted to get some feedback firsthand from us the users themselves. What is the best iPad app for viewing editing word/excel documents?

I would think Apple's Pages app for iPad is a winner... you can import/export doc and dock extension folders (which are word documents) straight to your iPad via Pages easily.

As for excel, Apple has developed Numbers which is also very good as well. I think they cost around £5 or something like that when I purchased them last year for my first generation iPad. It is really worth it for what you get!
