This is interesting, Maura. What I don't understand is Do I have to have Win8 on my PC and then SSH to it? I did the Google bit but didn't find or didn't understand. Could you elaborate?

No other remote desktop support win8 gesture on iPad though.... Splashtop has mapped all the win8 gesture over to iPad, which is important to remotely access a win8 PC. Also, Splashtop performance is solid... fluid touch experience as though you are in front of win8 PC.
