Can you try something a bit more down-to-earth, no pun intended. How about the AB-SK border at Lloydminster? Those red poles should stick out like a sore thumb.

Hopefully I will be able to se that on my own iPad soon. I'm still struggling to get the iTunes updated (I know, sounds odd coming from an experienced user) but it is tough on an old Mac and a SLOW Internet connection. The update to iOS 6 update will be a nightmare, waiting for it to load, installing, restoring, errors…

How do you get the flyover to work?
iPad 2 ~ Wi-Fi ~ 32 GB | MacBook Air 13-inch 4 GB RAM/128 GB | Apple TV (3rd Gen) | iPod Classic 80 GB | iPod Touch 32 GB (4th Gen)
Tap on the map icon on the homepage, enter a location with flyover capability in the search box. I used Rome, Italy. Zoom in on the specific location you want, then use the two finger upward swipe to tilt the image. To rotate the image, use two fingers and rotate them counter clockwise or clockwise. Do fine tuning adjustments using all three described methods until the view is just the way you want it.Originally Posted by skimonkey

P.S. Zooming is done by touching two fingers to the screen and spreading them apart.Originally Posted by scifan57
