    Apple confirms iPad 2 Price Drop


    Apple is ready to put even more heat on it's tablet competition including the Amazon Kindle by lowering the price of the Apple iPad 2 16GB Wi-Fi model to $399 and the Apple iPad 2 32GB Wi-Fi/3G to $529. Although the technology in the iPad2 is a year old, $399 is an amazing price for all the power it still packs.

    Looks like it might be time for the competition to call it a day. Even at the old price no-one else could get more than a foot in the door. Now? I'm glad I'm not trying to make a living selling non-Apple tablets. Payday could look very thin.

    He's only 9. The iPod is probably a bit more resilient for a kid of his age, but still...$400 represents amazing value for money.

    £329 for the old ipad2 16 gb wifi only, where as the ipad 3 16 gb wifi only is £399, amazing value

    when do these prices start?? even 399 is a nice price. but for 100 more u get a lot more stuff
