one the biggest airliners is starting to use ipads to replace all the paper manuals in all airplanes...they claim the cost savings in fuel alone froorm all the added pounds(kiograms) not being on the planes any more makes very cost effective

IMO paperback ups should never be replaced by digital copies. Electronics break, people forget to charge things. When the crap hits the fan and suddenly your iPad doesnt work you will want those paper manuals, they never break or die.
