9to5 Mac posts pictures today of what is said to be iPad 3 digitisers, which were found on Fix-iPhones.com. If the digitisers are genuine, they disprove two recent rumours about Apple’s next iPad, the first of which is that it will not have a home button (which it clearly does on this picture) and the second of which is that it would only come in black, and that there would be no white version, but as this picture shows, there will be both black and white versions of the next iPad. Elsewhere around the web there is much speculation as to the actual release date of the iPad 3, now that we know that it will be launched on March 7. AppleInsider reports that Apple is opening a new retail store in Houston, Texas on March 16, and talks about speculation that this might also be the day that the next iPad arrives in stores.
