If, like me, you’re a fan of old-school top-down JRPGs with cute lil’ characters, just like old Zelda or Final Fantasy way back when, then you’ll be very happy indeed to hear the news that Konami has released just such an RPG, Ash II: Shadows, to the App Store, for the iOS platform. Developed by Virginia-based SRRN Games, Ash II: Shadows follows the events of the award-winning Ash, featuring a new story, as well as brand new quests and characters, set in the world of Aghaus. In the game, Aghaus is once again in danger, and the heroes of old are called upon to embark on another perilous adventure to save their homeland. Players join characters Nicholas and Damien as they pursue new quests, discover ancient mysteries, and find unexpected allies. The original storyline and stunning HD hand-drawn graphics all combine to help make Ash II: Shadows a compelling RPG from Konami and SRRN.
