Well good decision by adobe.these will make the remaining sites think about providing html 5 support .personally I feel most of web have moved forward with html5 .i don't face any trouble even in porn sites. Lol.. Flash is for laptops and desktops not mobile
Devices and tablets. Only time when I miss flash in my I pad is when I want to use the chatroom and well I can live with that when there are so many advantages .

Android (or any other platform) isn't being left out really. Although they'll have one less bragging point, Android devices are already capable of displaying content created in formats other than Flash. It's really no different than moving from VHS to DVD for creator/designers or end-users. Different format, same content with improved quality for everyone. Adobe isn't out of the running either, they're just (wisely IMO) turning to different architecture options to deliver content. We'll all benefit.
Html5 is the future, and this is great decision by adobe. Saying that i wish apple would sort out the default youtube app on apple devices. When i use the youtube app which has the icons of an old tv, many videos are not viewable due to flash, yet when i go to youtube page from safari which uses html5, i can see the video that would not play on the youtube app.

As someone who has had Flash on their HTC Desire phone and thought it "Ok", I have recently removed all the Flash updates from the phone in order to recover 16MB of desperately needed system RAM. For a phone that is nearly two years old, memory is becoming scarce due to the load of Apps I have acquired over that time. There is no room for a memory hog like Flash. I booted it two weeks ago.
Thus far, I have not missed it. R.I.P. Flash Mobile.
got a note from Lovefilm advising that they were no longer streaming on Flash...
another nail.
but going over to Silverlight!
Uhhh, help me here. Is "in" facing into the wall or into the room? Inquiring minds want to know.
