One of the most popular musical shows on television, Glee, now has its own version of one of the most popular music apps in the App Store, Tap Tap Revenge, following on from the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga who have had their own special editions of the game released. Announced today by Tapulous via its blog, the new app invites all Gleeks to tap and shake along to their favourite music from Glee! The app also features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, as well as exclusive content in the McKinley High Yearbook section of the app, plus a video gallery for yet more exclusive content. You can even join the Gleeks or Jocks on Facebook and slushie your friends! Although the game is free to download, you can buy individual tracks, and extra song packs cost from $0.99 for a top hit 2-pack, $1.99 for a top hit 4-pack, and $2.99 for a top hit 6-pack, featuring such show-stopping faves as “Poker Face” and “Baby One More Time”. You can also earn credits to get more songs by doing various things such as “liking” Tapjoy games on Facebook. Tapulous says that there will also be a new free-to-play promo track released every day, and you also get “Hell To The No”, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “My Cup” included for free with the app. It’s a lot of fun to play, and Tap Tap games are always fun, and hearing the songs on your iPad or iPhone as you play along really makes you appreciate just what great singers they are on the show.
