The sad thing is that apple stops updating some of it's products like I had said in my previous posts. Which it doesn't mean that people have to get the next model of their iPad but eventually one has to in order to enjoy new apps etc. Even though this takes years to happen it shouldn't have to happen

But that's not something restricted to Apple, technology moves fast and the in house dev teams need to be working on the next big thing.

That's exactly why I don't want the iPad 3 to come out soon because since "technology moves fast" my iPad will be out dated fast.

I would love it if the iPad 3 were released this year!

I have just got my iPad2 so the new iPad would have to have some major changes for me to consider buying the nw one if the changes are like the the first upgrade I would no worry until maybe the 4 or 5 iPad when they would have major changes.

Well my iPad 1, bought a few weeks before iPad 2 came out, doesn't feel outdated.

Thank you! Neither does mine. Still to this very day when I take it out of the case, if feels brand new and I can't believe I was able to even get one.

If you just bought an iPad 2, why would you even consider getting an iPad 3? I have an iPad 2 myself and I'm more than satisfied.

I am quite satisfied with my iPad 2 as well and it would iPad 5 or so for me to switch. I am awaiting the iPhone5. I still have my 3G. I skipped 3Gs and iPhone 4.

I am happy with my ipad2 I can skip a couple models with no problem, people if apple still sending updates to your devices (ipod, ipad, iMac, iwhatever) we are good.
