Analyst Charlie Wolf at Needham & Company has some impressive figures for Apple today, as according to AppleInsider he has just increased his revenue and earnings per share estimates for the company, in order to adequately reflect his higher estimated shipment totals of 30 million iPads and 17 million Macs this year. The increased estimate is based on the fact that iPad 2 sales have been even higher than expected so far in 2011. Wolf had previously projected that Apple would sell 7.5 million iPads in Q3, but now he has increased that prediction to 9 million.

"They have been unable to undercut the price of the iPad; and they've fallen woefully short in matching its features, ease-of-use and the number of applications written for the device. Indeed, the only risk in our forecast is on the supply side, not the demand side.”
