This week marks the launch of SEGA’s Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in the App Store, to coincide with this week’s celebrations for the world’s fastest hedgehog’s 20th Anniversary. Already a big console hit, the game sees your favourite SEGA characters, including the likes of AiAi, Tails, Dr. Eggman, Amigo, and many more, come together to battle it out in an adrenaline-fuelled race to the chequered flag over 15 gorgeously colourful white-knuckle courses. Each character gets to race around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in AiAi’s case, a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling, and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are the best way to get to the top of the podium.

Each character also has their own special All-Star move to unleash, such as Super Sonic, Banana Blitz, and Tails Tornado, which give them a quick way to get back into the race. Power ups and weapons can also be collected around the track and used against the opposition. The game features a variety of single-player modes, as well as local multiplayer race and battle modes via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
