Chillingo has today released two new games to the App Store: D.A.R.K. and Powerslide Penguin. GameLab’s Sci-Fi action RPG D.A.R.K. has been eagerly anticipated by shooter fans. In the game you get to take on hordes of aliens as an elite member of D.A.R.K. Squadron, exploring the labyrinthine corridors of the super-ship USS Storm Bringer. Aside from the all-out shooting action, there are also puzzles to solve and enormous bosses to trounce on your way to finding out the truth about the Storm Bringer.

Powerslide Penguin, Chillingo’s other release today, is a completely different kettle of fish! In the game, which is developed by Cobra Mobile, you play Penn Gwynn the Penguin, who’s on the trail of the thieves who broke into the Chill City Bank and made off with all the loot. It’s your job to slide your way around 75 icy stages, barrelling into gems and cash and avoiding dynamite, polar bears, and evil snowmen. Looks like a nice fun puzzler that could be addictive!
