Today, meridianEMR has announced the launch of a new patient check-in system that takes full advantage of the iPad’s touch screen, graphics and efficiency.

Patients can enter personal data such as patient demographics, medications, family, medical and surgical history via the highly secured and HIPAA-compliant application, which can be easily accessed through a physician’s website, where patients can enter their data, as well as check lab results and other clinical information prior to an office visit. This is designed to save time and money for physicians and staff.
