MacStories reports today that the Dropbox iPad app has just been updated to version 1.4. Following some criticism of the app for its less-than-user-friendly navigation, the new update heralds the return of tabs, so that now instead of having to tap on buttons in the top toolbar, you can access Favorites, Uploads and Settings via the tabs at the bottom of the app. The update also brings much needed changes to the entire upload process. For example, you can now upload multiple videos and photos simultaneously directly from your camera roll, and you can also now import files directly from other apps on your iPad, such as Mail, via the “Open In” menu. Spanish, French, German and Japanese support is also included in the update. Judging by the user comments in the App Store, this update seems to have really done the trick in terms of ironing out any outstanding niggles that the app might have had previous to the update.
