MacRumors has a report of a sighting by one of their eagle-eyed readers today of an internal notice from RadioShack revealing that the chain will start selling the iPad 2 tomorrow at 500 of its US stores. The memo reads as follows:

“We are thrilled that iPad 2 will be available at 500 RadioShack locations across the country starting March 29! Details have been sent to those stores.”

So, although this is not officially confirmed yet, if you’ve so far been foiled in your attempts to get your hands in an iPad 2, it might be worth giving your local RadioShack a call tomorrow. As you’ll know all too well if you’ve been disappointed so far, the iPad 2 is in very short supply in the US and in the 25 countries where it was launched last Friday, with Apple online stores currently showing a wait of 3-4 weeks and many retail stores sold out.
