Popular blogging platform Squarespace has just announced the launch of its own iPad app, following on from its successful iPhone app. The app is designed to make it easy for bloggers to edit posts on their iPad on the fly, with a very user-friendly interface. Simply tap a post or comment to open a tray below the post with all your options. Squarespace says that a “good portion” of its iOS web editor has been incorporated into the iPad app. Just as with the iPhone version, the post editor is very flexible, enabling you to easily change editing modes. Also, when in Markdown, Textile or Raw HTML modes, you can bold text, italicise, mark quotations, insert photos and links and even set an excerpt.
