Hard to believe, but itís actually 20 years since Duke Nukem II was first released. The iOS version of the classic Duke Nukem 3D proved to be incredibly popular, so itís no surprise that the side-scrolling sequel to the original Duke Nukem is now finally coming to iOS, courtesy of Interceptor Entertainment and 3D Realms. iDownload Blog says that the iOS remake will feature all 32 levels from the original game, but with the enhancement of multitouch controls, a new soundtrack, improved graphics, online leaderboards, and much more. The game will be released sometime in April, and will cost $1.99. As ever with Duke Nukem, the plot, which is set in ďfuturisticĒ 1998, revolves around aliens, who this time around have kidnapped Duke Nukem, and are trying to use his brain to dominate earth. Itís up to you and Duke to save the planet, in an arcady, side-scrolling kind of way. No idea of the exact release date, but look for this in April.
