    Seamless update to both iPads (2's) both took about 10 minutes, everything seems to function normally, possible speed increase.

    I attempted to upgrade to ios 6.1 on my IPAD2. Now i'm stuck in recovery mode. I've re-tried installing the software from my PC 7-9 times only to have the same result. I'm stuck with the USB cable and Itunes on my IPAD screen. HELP!!

    @junebug_629, I'll take a hazardous guess that you simply pressed the Restore button to restore? Put the iPad into DFU mode and shift+click the Restore button and point it to the iOS 6.1 IPSW for your iPad 2. You won't have to redownload it since iTunes already has. By default, it will be in the following directory on your device. Just point it to it when your device is in DFU mode and it'll restore.

    Sample: C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates
    iPhone 4S White 16GB iOS 6.1.2 || iPad 2 (Black) 16GB WiFi iOS 6.1.2 || iPhone 5 (Slate)/iPhone 4S (Black) 64GB Latest Beta/Full iOS
