Picture Surfaces of Supposed iPad 5 Back Casing
The Tactus blog has certainly been on the case lately when it comes to leaks of supposed parts for Apple products, and today the blog looks like scoring another winner, with pictures of what it says are the rear shell of the next iPad, iPad 5. Tactus also has more details about the next iPad to go with the pictures, saying that it thinks that it might have an AX7 chip, and that it will have the same screen size as the last iPad (9.7 inches), although the bezels will be much thinner. As you can see from the picture, the next iPad is still on course for an iPad-mini style makeover, and Tactus says that it will also have an IGZO retina display, which could help Apple to make the next iPad a lot thinner, as Tactus says that IGZO displays use up to 90% less power than previous iPad displays, so the battery will be smaller and the iPad will be thinner and lighter. In fact, Tactus ventures that the next iPad will be only 7.2mm thick. Wow!
