Ahhhh....... yet another example of the desperate individuals who take things that don't belong to them. My 1st generation Ipad was stolen... it does have a password, but i know it can be easily reset. I am in trouble? Anyone?

Well your data is safe because there's no way past your password, but it can simply be set up as a new device, in which case the thief has his own iPad, and there's nothing you can do about it.Quote:

So sorry your iPad has been stolen, but thank goodness you did have a password set up.

The majority of the time thieves steal iPads, iPhones and such to sell them. They couldn't care less about your data.
