So today my iPad started blacking out for no reason, it just happens randomly. It's an iPad 2 updated to iOs.6 and ever couple of hours it blacks out. Restarting and rebooting doesn't help but every couple of hours it will start working again. Any ideas?
Maybe it's just really drunk. But joking aside, is the device jailbroken?Quote:

It happens randomly, and I kept about two background apps at a time.
Did this only start with the ios 6 installation?

Well, I'd wait to see what the rest of the community has to say. But my advice would be to redownload and reinstall ios6. Make sure you backup first! I had the wifi issues with ios6, but after reinstalling it, it worked fine. Maybe your case is similar.

Try a reset of your iPad and see if this fixes the problem...it is a recommended step after any update to the iPad.
Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.

Resetting doesn't help
