Hello to everyone!
Hi, I am DellsDontBouce. I am a technology educator in Virginia, and I am the happy owner of a new 32GB wireless iPad 2. Our school district purchased sets of the 16GB model for all of the schools, and my wonderful wife though I needed to have my own so that I could learn how to use it. I absolutely love my iPad. My favorite app right now is Air Video. I have more than 500 movies on DVD and BluRay that I am in the process of converting to mp4 and m4v, and I am able to stream all of the movies I have converted so far to my iPad as long as I can connect to the internet.
I am looking forward to my time in the forums, and hope to learn enough that I can actually contribute.
Hello from Piedmont North Carolina & welcome to the forum - :)
You'll be amazed at 'how many' uses the iPad can provide and these will only increase as the iOS is upgraded and new devices are released!
Enjoy - :D
I use Format Factory to convert my movies, thanks to a tutorial I found here on iPF. I must say movies look GREAT on the iPad. I even watched it without putting earbuds in and I could hear it just fine. I don't have cable or the Netflix disc plan so this is going to come in handy.
Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
Have fun and enjoy your iPad
If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
