I'm Harvey Walter and I'm trying to talk myself into buying an iPad. In graduate school one of my profs had a software package that replaced his shoe boxes full of 3x5 cards. It had separate fields for a slug line, author of book, title of the book, page number from which the note was taken and a box into which to write the note. Of course, EVERYTHING was searchable. I'd LOVE to find something like that for an iPad. Does something like that exist? I'm not a techi, so there's no way I could create the program myself. Can any of you help me with my quest?
Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
Have fun and enjoy your iPad
I saw your question and it maybe that you could construct something like that with an Excel spreadsheet. But probably other members will know of a bespoke app and will recommend one for you.
If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
