Mail

On my iPad1 some emails appear with a number 2 beside them. Touching on these brings up two emails, one the same as the original and one above it just one line. Deleting the original leaves the following apparent email "(No Sender) (No Sender). This message has no sender. The date is shown as 1/01/70. I cannot delete this as the delete bin is not available (shown faded). I now have quite a few of these "rogue" emails and would appreciate hearing from anyone who can advise why they occur and how to delete them.

I'm pretty sure you have the "organize by thread" function turned on for your Mail app. You may want to turn off that ability and see if it helps.

To get to it to turn it off - go to "Mail, Contact, Calendars" in your Settings app. On the right side will be a line titled "Organize By Thread." Turn it OFF.

Hopefully, that will take care of your issue. If it does, yay! If not, holler back and we'll take another shot at it. Good luck and do let us know how you get on.
