I sure hope someone out there can help me.
I tried to open the iBook app and I got a window that informed me I needed to upgrade, I hit okay. IBooks opens and says it is already installed. I open iBooks again and when prompted I hit canel and iBooks closes.
I reinstalled and restored and still can't get to my books.
Try re-setting your iPad by holding the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button down until the Apple logo appears on the screen (this takes several seconds) then letting it start up normally. This seems to cure a lot of flakey issues.
Thanks. I reset, uninstalled, reinstalled once again and now all is good.
