Skype with a new iPad
I want to Skype using my new iPad. Apparently I can do everything but hear what the other Skyper is saying. What setting or button do I need to turn on? So far I can hear only dings and swishes of incoming and outgoing emails.
Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.
I can't find any settings in Skype that would account for this.
All I can suggest is this. Plug in headphones and hit volume up, then unplug them and hit volume up again. The two volume controls are independent, and Skype might be expecting the wrong one.
Let us know how you get on.
Thanks. Guess I'll need to buy headphones.
Hi there, you have posted in the POLLs section. I am going to move this to the Help section where you should get additional attention. Give KevinJS's advice a try and please do let us know your outcome.

Didn't think of that. Good reply.
