Trying to activate 3g iPad -- "This site is currently undergoing maintenance."
I gotta say, I'm a wee bit miffed at the moment! I decided on a whim to purchase the iPad at Best Buy this morning, before I went to work. I synced it up with no problems.
My only problem is, I can't activate the 3g part of my iPad >:[ I get this message: "This site is currently undergoing maintenance. Please try again later." Understandably, websites need to get updated...I can still be upset about it though!
Does anyone know how long this is expected to last? I've tried contacting AT&T over the internet chat thingmabobber they have on their website; of course, "they" were no help and told me to contact Apple about it. I was unable to call AT&T directly because, well, I was at work...It was easier to skip onto the website than hold a phone to my ear.
I also tried looking this up online, and haven't found anything related to being unable to activate the 3g account/access.

Loading additional data thru AT&T: Site 'aintenance error message
This is now the second day in a row that the the AT&T site has been down for maintenance and I have been unable to reload my data plan. This is not the first time I experienced this problem. The inability to reload my plan renders my device iseless, as the receiver in my ipad is too weak to pick up the wifi hotspot i normally use. All my other devices register strong signal, including two macbook airs and numerous PCs. Im not sure if Im more frustrated with iPads weak wifi receiver or AT&T's inability to sell me more 3G time!!! Of course there are no humans available at AT&T to even acknowledge the problem (much less sell me more time.)
