Music transfer

Hi there,

I'm going to get an iPhone for a friend for Christmas however I know they love their playlists on their iPad...can their music on their iPad be transferred to an iPhone?

If the music on their iPad has been synced with iTunes on their computer, they can choose to sync it to the iPhone when it's connected to iTunes on their computer.
