File structure

I have an iPad 1 64gb wifi.

I am wanting to create some sort of file structure or have an app do it for me. What im trying to do is.

I have a inch of file folders on my laptop with PDF's, word, and excel spreadsheets in them. And those folders have respective designations. What I want is to be able to copy those over just as they are on my laptop so I can have easier access to them when I'm at work.

Didn't know if it was possible.

I would suggest a file access/storage app like Goodreader or File Browser. You should be able to move files and folders into the app locally, then launch them into any apps needed for viewing/editing them.

Of course you cannot just have a random file structure outside of an app due to sand boxing.

I know drop box with which one can share file/folder with multiple devices.

Or use an office app like Office2HD for example, which will allow you to custom file these files away where you choose
