I'm using a Pentax K7 camera and up until my last download which was a month ago. I was able to download .jpeg photos from my iMac to my iPad. Why are only some of the files going to the iPad. The card in my camera if formatted in the camera after I'm done downloading. :(
I must add that I've shut down and restarted my iPad. Unloaded all photos and reloaded. Restarted after the unload and before the reload. UGH
Are any of the photos in RAW format. While Photos has some support for RAW, it is not comprhensive.
None of them are in the RAW format. I've checked the camera and the photo. .JPEG only. Some of the photos copy from my iMac to my iPad but not all of them.
Ok. All I can suggest is a close comparison of the ones that do, and don't. Pay close attention to the file names. If you're using the Camera Connection Kit only 8 character names (plus extensions) are allowed, similar to the way a camera names photos by default.
All file names are 8 characters and no more or less. Thanks for suggesting!
