Touching the screen
I have a problem. But I don't need help. I can't stand touching the screen. Because I doubt if I'm using the iPad as it should be used, so far I'm not inconvenienced by just using a stylus. Is there anything I'm missing out on by this just-less-than-phobia?

sound like just a phobia lol, have you used one before or is it your first time with a touch screen

First time. Never liked the idea, particularly after seeing the fingerprints all over a friend's iPad. However, pros overcame cons and I decided to go for it. At first I used my fingers, but bought a stylus for using the keyboard. Gradually, I began to use the stylus all the time.

You are missing the two finger things like zooming on pictures and enlarging print on web articles. And pinch to return. Others may have other favorite finger changes. I do use a stylus for lots of things - helps keep the screen cleaner. But I was attracted to the iPad by the ads showing what you could do with your fingers!

I use the stylus to enlarge text. Haven't loaded any pictures yet.

Correction, I've just found 3 photos that were emailed to me, and if I use 2 styluses ( stylii.) I can zoom in and out.

Sounds like you've got it made! You may need more than two for iOS5, though multi finger taps will be easy.
-
Not that I'm obsessive or anything, but I have got three! But I've never tried to use them all at once.

I think you need to break that phobia.
The world is going to touch screens very fast. How will you ever rent a RedBox movie? :D

I hate touching my screen because of finger prints. I always use a stylus unless I need multitouch to zoom.
