Comcast email issue
Not sure what happened but I started getting an error when trying to get my comcast email. The error says "connection to mail.comcast.net has failed". Everything has been working fine until yesterday. I tried deleting the account and starting from scratch but it didn't work. Any ideas?
I'm not having trouble with mine right now, sometimes connection issues fix themselves.. server down or other..
Just for kicks check your settings..
Settings/mail/highlight your account
Host name should be mail.comcast.net
try making username your whole email address including the @comcast.net
smtp should be smtp.comcast.net
click advanced Use SSL should be ON server port 110 Authentication = Password
if it worked once it will more likely work again...as was said...server issues more likely.
Are you sure your online? That is a common error when you aren't online.
