Wifi tethering with my phone
I recently upgraded my iPad2 to IOS6, and like probably half the population, I lost my ability to connect to my home network. The iPad still connects to other networks, and all my home devices are still connected to my home network.
After reading over a thousand 'solution' posts, and trying every single one of them, I am still unable to connect to it. I get the 'Unable to join xxxx Network' dreaded message.
So until they issue a new patch, the only way for me to read the news in bed, is by pairing my iPad to my tethered Galaxy S3.
Now the issue I am facing is the following:
Since my S3 is already using WiFi to connect to my home net, the only way I can get connected with the iPad is through Bluetooth, which keeps disconnecting for weird reasons.
I go to my pairing section on the iPad only to see it disconnected, and when I click on it, 50% of the times it says unable to do so, so I kinda need to reboot both devices, and restart the whole process for each new session.
This brings me to my question.
Is there any application that will allow my S3 to connect to my WiFi, and at the same time become a WiFi hotspot? At the moment, as soon as I enable the hotspot option, it tells me it needs to shut down WiFi, thus only giving me the Bluetooth option.
To make it simple, the ways I can connect are:
and what I need is:
Not sure if what I wrote makes sense :p, so please feel free to ask for more clarifications if needed.
