If we go away for a few days is it necessary to take both an iPad charger and an iPhone charger?
I read somewhere on these forums that an iPhone charger hold not be used for charging an iPad because it doesn't have the oomph.
Conversely does n iPad charger have too much oomph for an iPhone and is likely o damage it?
No. Just take the iPad charger. It'll do both without causing any damage.
That was quick, thanks for the response. Will the iPad charger charge the iPhone any quicker?
I've never timed them. It certainly won't do it any slower. I doubt it's faster because the phone will only draw the power it needs.
I know that a second gen iPod touch charges in around 2 hours (15%-100%) with an iPad charger.

I noticed a faster charge using my iPad charger with my iPod Touch.
