My iPad is very slow in opening web pages and sometimes will simply not open them at all - just seems to be stuck "searching". I am not having these problems with my laptop which is much faster using the same wifi.

I had trouble at first when I got my iPad 2. My laptop had no problems, but the iPad 2 did. The signal on the laptop was at max while the signal on the iPad 2 was very weak.
I installed a repeater in the other side of my house, and have had a max signal ever since. Now the iPad 2 is even faster than the laptop.
I always wondered about my iPad speed. Here is a picture of my recent speed test. What is yours?

Seems speeds the same if not my iPad is slightly faster than my MBP, not as fast as zipur though (jealous).

don't have any speed problems with my ipad2 or mbp,think its about the same on both,i get around 4.50-5.00 mbps.
